Knitting Stuff
It's so hard to put down the socks and work on the other UFOs (and USOs) in my to-do list! I've finished Sock #1 of the Lorna's Laces pair, and can't wait to finish #2 so I can show Lisa the beautiful colors: blue, purple, violet, soft green, and just a touch of taupe. It's called something like Bucks Bar -- I guess you had to be there. It's sooooo pretty, though.
Of course, with about 15 minutes per day for knitting (if I'm lucky), it might be a while before I finish anything else. Between crazy work and crazy puppies, it's a good day when I can knit five stitches in a row without interruption.
And Of Course, There's the Puppy

I can't wait to see the Lorna socks! I love Lorna Laces yarns! The colors are great! Oh and your dog Dinah! She is too too cute and cuddly for words. You need to come with her on a plane to visit us!!!! Lisa
That's the beauty of socks. A little knitting on them goes a long way, and they're so portable. Once you get to know a pattern you can just toss them in your purse.
Since the sock monster in my garage has taken to eating bites out of my cotton socks rather than disappearing the whole sock, I'm about to go on an intensive search for nice cotton blend sock yarn and just make them all myself. They're so much more comfy and cozy feeling when they're hand made.
